Jeremy Bierly is a technologist and software architect with more than 26 years of experience building large-scale websites, rich internet applications, and e-commerce platforms.

For the last 14 years, his work has largely been in architectural roles, where digital transformation has been a core area of expertise, alongside systems thinking, developer experience, and the cultural side of engineering.

He is currently driving AI innovation at a large retail technology organization, helping engineers move from passive AI tool usage toward genuinely agentic development workflows. He is a hands-on practitioner as well as a strategist, still actively building and shipping code, exploring various web frameworks, and tinkering with personal projects on the side.

His interests extend well beyond software. He writes about technology, work, and creativity, and about the broader currents that shape how we live and make things: design, the web, culture, and whatever else happens to be on his mind. This blog is a place for notes, ideas, and observations.
